The John Munroe Hospital Group is a provider of individualized, high quality, psychiatric 'slow stream' rehabilitation. Operating in Staffordshire, we build upon over 20 years experience in mental health care provision.

Our main principle is to complement existing NHS mental health provision, by providing a high quality and cost effective services that bridge the gap in areas of need therefore giving value for money. The John Munroe Hospital (JMH) and Edith Shaw Hospital (ESH) aims to work in partnership with NHS organizations to provide comprehensive hospital based psychiatric rehabilitation for adults and older people with severe and enduring mental illness.

We provide a rehabilitation service to patients with impaired life skills using recovery models that utilize step down care pathways to maximize independence and promote optimal quality of life.
